James MacFarlane
Lead Pastor
James MacFarlane is a gifted preacher, teacher and biblical leader who comes to the McDonald area after having served at Alliance churches in Florida and Ohio. Pastor James received his training at Liberty University. Prior to his call as a pastor, he served our country in the U.S. Navy for 20 years as a naval aircrewman and rescue swimmer.
Cross Connections Alliance Church is pleased to announce that James has accepted the call to be our new pastor and that he, his wife Jody and their three children will join our church family in the Fall of 2024!

Barbara ARNDT
Administrative assistant
Barbara (Barb) Arndt has served as our administrative assistant since 2012. Barb and her husband, Kevin raised their 3 children here in the Greater Pittsburgh area. She's a great administrative asset to our church staff! Her outgoing personality and warm smile make you feel welcome and loved. Lisa Fanning
worship leader
Originally from Eastern Pennsylvania, Lisa grew up in Philadelphia. After moving to Pittsburgh in 1982, she spent much of her adult life serving in music and youth ministries. She has been a member of Cross Connections since 2005, serving as our Worship Leader for over 10 years. She also led our Women's Ministry from 2009-2016. Lisa and her husband Jack have been happily married since 1983. They have three adult children.

Jack Fanning
Media team Leader
Jack Fanning has been our media lead and building manager for over 15 years. He's brought a high level of professionalism to all we do! He and his wife Lisa humbly serve in leadership at Cross Connections.

WORSHIP TEAM
Our Worship Team includes Bob Stewart (percussion), Alice McWreath (vocals), Lisa Fanning (vocals and acoustic guitar), and Bill McWreath (vocals and keys). Their humble service to Jesus and His church, along with their professional musical abilities, makes our worship experience at Cross Connections a Spirit-filled encounter with God!
